Travel Visas

Depending on your citizenship, you may need to prepare documents and visas ahead of your travel to Spain. We've included a brief summary of what to expect here, however, we strongly encourage all guests to check with their government and embassy about what is needed.

Indian Citizens

Indian passport holders traveling to Europe will need to apply for a Schengen Visa before their visit. A Schengen visa is an entry permit for a short, temporary visit of up to 90 days in any 180-day period to several European countries in the "Schengen Area", including Spain.

The application must be submitted at least 15 days before the intended journey and cannot be submitted earlier than six months prior to the start of the intended journey.

You will need:

  • A valid passport.

  • visa application form.

  • A photo in compliance with ICAO standards.

  • Medical insurance covering emergency medical, hospitalization, and repatriation.

  • Supporting documents relating to the purpose of your stay, evidence of financial means during your stay, your accommodation, and your will to return home after your stay.

  • Your fingerprints will be collected when you submit your application.

  • Additional documents can be requested by the Consulate.

The cost of a Schengen Visa is €80.
